Your role

As an Associate Claims at AIA Malaysia, you will be responsible for the following roles:

  • Responsible for assessing and paying outpatient and inpatient hospitalization claims.
  • Responsible for reviewing and paying cases that exceed authority limits.
  • Meet department and individual quality targets, turnaround time, and productivity benchmarks.
  • Ensure all special account policy is attended to and resolved within the agreed timeline.
  • Communicate closely with the 24/7 contact center and ensure emails are responded timely.
  • Assisting team members within the team as and when required.   
  • Assist in general administration and any special allocated tasks as and when required.
  • Seek to understand rationale with facts for better claims analysis.

Training & development

AIA has some learning centers such as AIA Leadership Centre, AIA Elite Academy, and AIA Premier Academy. Each learning has its own goals. AIA also provides comprehensive training to succeed in your roles. In the beginning, the new employees will get an onboarding section to learn company values and culture. For this position, you will be trained in after-sales support to policy-related administrative processes such as new business, renewals, and change requests from individual policyholders for the Hong Kong Market. About you

  • Education: Degree in Bioscience, Medical Science, or Nursing-related field of study.
  • Language: Proficient in spoken English and Mandarin
  • and follow respective country’s requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of working experience as a Claims Assessor in the Insurance Industry, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated and customer-orientated.
  • Sound problem solving.
  • Time management skills.
  • Able to commit to long working hours including weekends and public holidays.
