Your role

If you are a Repair Officer at AirAsia, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Review the reason and condition of the removed components from aircraft and engines.
  • Issue a Repair Order for unserviceable components in accordance with the reason for removal and the work scope required.
  • Ensure Repair Orders are issued to approved vendors and in accordance with available contracts ● Follow up and ensure components repair turnaround times are in accordance with agreed turnaround time or available contracts.
  • Ensure serviceable components are repaired in accordance to the repair order and meet company and regulation requirements.
  • Participate in resolving any issues arising from unserviceable components, such as incomplete documents or data, damages, etc.
  • Participate in the review of repairs with customers and prepare reports as required by customers.
  • Assist in the vendor registration process as per the company’s departmental policy.
  • Deliver the needs of any other tasks as instructed by its superior.
