Responsibilities

  • Leads the end-to-end process of Content Studio and other creative workflow and tools within the organization from project kick-off until normal operations are in place.
  • Schedules and oversees brand onboarding processes.
  • Provides teams with visibility on Content Studios, sharing best practices and learnings across the company.
  • Oversees all content created and delivered.
  • Ensures the content executed is as per brand and content strategy and is in line with brand guidelines and fundamentals.
  • Creates processes and workflows tailored for  content needs and realities
  • Responsible for providing the Content Studio team with necessary, up-to-date insights.
  • Identifies new content opportunities, exploring ways to repurpose existing content.
  • Participates in the client solution area to provide them with the solution that they need within brand and content.
  • To assist in the ideation of new content.
  • To assist in working out a key content promotional campaign and improve overall channel / specific program's awareness & ratings. 
  • This includes Through The Line (TTL) planning of content promotion, with a key focus on Digital Engagement, Ground Activation & On-Air Promotion.
  • To assist in analyzing over channel ratings and audience viewing patterns for better channel planning purposes.
  • To assist in competitive analysis to understand the market landscape for channel planning purposes.
  • To assist in conducting tactical research for a better understanding of the targeted audience.
  • Key liaison with Marketing to develop Above The Line (ATL) promotional campaign.

Requirements

  • University degree in Education/Education related fields, Mass Communication, Marketing, Economics, Business Studies or related fields. 
  • Prior knowledge of the local and regional television landscape, especially in Pay television. 
  • Experience in Education or Educational programming is preferred. 
  • A proven track record in handling TV channel operations/programming strategy is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office and Presentation skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Able to review and provide direction on television on-air scripts, and programme highlights, press releases, marketing communications.
  • Able to deliver clear and confident presentations/speeches in English or Bahasa Malaysia or both.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently of a supervisor.
  • Proactive and creative in problem-solving.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well across multiple teams of people.
  • Highly creative and able to identify or conceptualize new initiatives to increase channel viewership.
