What will you do?

In this position you will join our buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of buildings projects.

• Work closely with internal clients and external vendors/ suppliers to perform timely entries for AR receipts, AP invoices and GL month end journals; process payments and ensure proper supporting documents are approvals are obtained

• Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyse, and interpret relevant financial information. Able to explain Labour Bridge variances, IFRS impact etc

• Reconciling accounts with the general ledger and prepare bank reconciliations; prepare monthly consolidated statutory reports and accounts (TB, BS, P&L, Cashflow) and arrange for Finance Manager’s review

• Coordinate yearly Annual Audit; perform regular audits and sanity checks on financial data to assure its accuracy and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards

• Preparing Annual Returns, Tax Returns, application of COR and handle ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

The position is based in Selangor and presence is required in 2 different offices.

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy

• Experience specifically within the engineering consulting industry is preferred

• Good knowledge of IFRS and has kept updated on its updates/ changes

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel and Word

• Demonstrated ability to work well with colleagues of all levels, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

• Ability to think creatively, candidate should be highly-driven and self-motivated
