Your role

As an intern, your responsibilities include:

• Provide vulnerability analysis, follow up, and produce reports for management.
• Daily assessment of vulnerabilities identified by vulnerability scan tools.
• Interaction with multiple global teams (distributed, penetration testing, application development, network, etc).
• Prioritizing vulnerabilities discovered along with remediation timeline(s).

About you

The requirements for this internship:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or relevant courses.
• Dynamic scans, static scans, and penetration testing experience is a bonus.
• Relevant cybersecurity professional certification is an advantage (ie, CompTIA, CEH, etc).

Hard skills:

• Knowledge of vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS/CMSS).
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Knowledge of application, network, and operating system security.
• Possess relevant skills in reporting tools (ie, MS Office, etc).

Soft skills: 

• Excellent writing and presentation skills are required in order to communicate findings and status.
• Detail-oriented, organized, methodical, follow-up skills with an analytical thought process.
• Innovative and efficiency-focused.
