Bulk parcel shipping is a vital part of BASF’s Supply Chain in the transportation and distribution of large volumes of chemicals covering finished goods, raw materials and traded goods across the globe. With the growth of BASF’s business and multiple mega projects in the pipeline, BASF has since established its own bulk parcel shipping services unit. This unit was established on the 1st of January 2021 in GB within the Customer Cluster under Overseas Delivery Services (GBC/G) to cater to the demand for the Service Scope of handling bulk parcel tanker shipments globally. This unit will leverage on the current Overseas Delivery Services setup, thereby being positioned to provide end-to-end service delivery to Operating Divisions covering both the outbound shipment of finished goods, inbound shipment of raw materials, and movement of traded goods across the globe.
As a Global Bulk Parcel Operations Intern at BASF Malaysia, you will do the main tasks below:
