Your role

As part of the Mobile Solutions team, you will be developing mobile applications for internal customers, and supporting team initiatives and operations. Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:

• Support BASF’s Digital roadmap by developing mobile apps, using agile ways of working in a DevOps approach.
• Engage, enable, and collaborate with our internal customers in the development process.
• Review current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support our internal customer by providing a solution that is suited to their use cases.

Training & Development

Interns will acquire a thorough understanding of the dynamic field of global supply chain management. Throughout your term, practical experience within an international company will be offered, providing exposure to daily challenges, processes, and insights from dedicated and skilled teams. Expect challenging tasks with significant responsibility across various projects, integrating you into the team from the onset. On-the-job training will be provided, ensuring you become integral members of the team.

About you

Here’s what BASF's are looking for in this role:

• Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science or in a comparable field
• Able to commit 3-6 months full-time internship from December 2023
• General understanding of agile methodologies and ability to organize work independently
• Has general mobile app coding skills
• Candidates should feel at home in IDEs like Android Studio and VS Code and can integrate their code into their GIT environment
• A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve
• Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal English communication skills
• Able to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe
