About Global Payment

The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that the users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. The Customer Service team in Global Payment is committed to delivering the best-in-class support on all payment-related inquiries to our merchants, who are responsible for the end user's experience.

Key responsibilities

• Customer Support: Provide back-office support to the frontline customer service team by addressing payment-related inquiries and concerns.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies on paying and payout and other transaction-related issues.
• Collaboration: Partner with team members or other functions to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
• Support special projects and initiatives as needed.

About you

• Minimum Qualifications
  • Final year or recent graduate with a background in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Preferred Qualification
  • Relevant internship experience in customer service or the payments industry is a plus.
