In this role, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that all applications received from the Sales and Business Development team are properly filtered through an ever-sophisticated credit scoring system, keeping in line with CapBay’s mission to provide smart and inclusive financing to SMEs whilst maintaining investors’ trust in us.
What you’ll do
- Provide credit evaluation on credit applications and requests
- Complete credit papers and submit to Credit Committees for approval
- Support Relationship Managers on credit underwriting and closing
- Interview clients with Relationship Managers on-site visits if required
- Perform independent post-approval reviews on credit accounts
- Loan/Security documentation checking
- Compose Investment Notes to the public investors
- Prepare reports and statistics
- Attend credit-related business development meetings with external parties
- Participate in latest credit-related software development closely with IT division
What you should have
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting or related field; or
- Professional experience in Finance or Credit Analysis, qualification in CCE and BCP is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheet; expertise in PowerQuery and PowerPivot is a plus
- Good writing skills in English
- Constantly updated to the latest financial, banking, economic news
- Basic knowledge of VBA for Excel and JavaScript scripting is a plus
