About You

The Intern, Corporate Strategy main responsibility will be assisting the Assistant Manager, Corporate Strategy (Strategic Partnerships) in the negotiations and implementation of strategic partnerships within Carsome. You will also be expected to help out with the day-to-day responsibilities within Corporate Strategy, which includes but not limited to preparing meeting minutes, market research, administrative tasks, data analysis and preparation of presentation slides.

Your Day-to-Day

• Assist in tasks relevant to the negotiations / implementation of strategic partnerships.
• Conduct research on the macro and micro-environment for used car market.
• Conduct research on market size/potential and competitive landscape of comparable startups
• Assist in data collection & analysis for operational assessments.
• Assist in feasibility analysis and development of business case for potential partnerships.
• Assist in the development of actionable business plans, establish appropriate tracking and reporting mechanism.
• Assist in the development of presentation materials for partnership discussions.

Your Know-How

• You are currently pursuing or have completed a Degree or Master's degree in Marketing / Communication / Banking / Accounting / Finance / Business related course.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Interest in Marketing, Market Research, Financial Accounting, Business Analysis and Data Modelling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
• Able and willing to work in KYM Tower, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
