Your role

The Platform Finance Intern role is responsible and supporting all financial aspects, driving quality and execution within the business unit, and ensuring SLA & Business KPIs are met.

What you'll do:

  • Shadowing members of the Platform Finance department as they perform their duties
  • Assisting with the functions of Accounts Payable - AP invoices booking, pulling AP report for reviewing, checking AP Balances, following up on AP invoices status, requesting SOA, and performing reconciliation
  • Prepare and upload monthly standing journals and other adjustment journals
  • Complete the monthly closing activities in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
  • Prepare partial monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Profit & Loss Schedules
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from time to time 

About you

To apply for this role you need to meet the requirements below:

  • Recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or anything equivalent
  • Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
  • Computer literate, preferably with Excel spreadsheet knowledge
  • Internship duration at least 6 months or longer
