Your role

CIMB Headstart Internship Programme is a 10-week structured program that provides a peek into The Complete Banker Programme and a taste of the banking industry. During the program, you will do some tasks given by the employer.

Training & development

CIMB provides pieces of training for interns. At the beginning of the program, there will be an onboarding section where you are introduced to the company's working environment. For this program, you will join inter-department training to learn about CIMB’s key business units. Moreover, a professional mentor will guide and supervise you during the program.

About you

To join this program, you have to meet the following requirements:

  • Able to commit for 10 weeks in:
    • July – September
    • December – February
  • In the penultimate/final year of undergraduate study
  • Achieved strong academic performance - minimum CGPA of 3.25 or equivalent
  • Active in extracurricular activities
  • Possess a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Have good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively
