About the Role
We’re looking for a marketing intern to support our Malaysia Marketing Team. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad and relevant experience in marketing that should prepare you to enter any fast-paced work environment. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you will get to work across many different beauty brands, providing competitive analysis and in-depth market knowledge to drive our brand's growth and disrupt the beauty market.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in Marketing activation including PR, on-ground activations, CRM, merchandising, events, and monthly promotions.
- Design and distribute promotional materials, eg. POP visuals and collaterals.
- Assist in Digital Marketing including social media management and boosting of E-comm sell-out.
- Assist in promotional materials and listings on retailer e-commerce sites.
- Source and liaise with 3rd party partners for potential collaboration with brands.
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.
- Perform market analysis and research on competitors.
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
What you'll bring
Essential
- Undergraduates who can commit for at least 6 months (Jan to Jun 2025) for a full-time internship.
- Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook (or related email tool) Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated and self-starter, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
- Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
- Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.
- Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup, and beauty products.
- Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership.
- Persuasive, resilient, and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges.
