Your role

When you’re creating technologies that drive human progress, nothing short of the highest standards of quality will do. The Quality Control team within Production is more than equal to the challenge of ensuring it complies with GMP, ISO, and other requirements. Dell develops and drives quality metrics while managing the design and installation of quality control processes, procedures, and statistical techniques. It is so skilled in conducting build audit, enhanced functional testing, or customer audit that also deliver training on quality assurance systems to colleagues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Operation & Engineering team for new customer order requirements.
  • Support Regulatory Product & Peripherals Audit.  
  • Assists in troubleshooting and determining root causes for quality issues on the production floor.
  • Alerts engineering and operations to conditions that may adversely impact the customer experience.
  • Responsible for audits, incoming quality assurance, and feedback and reporting.
  • Viewed as a subject matter expert regarding QC techniques and processes.
  • Minimizes downtime by reducing production rework, recalls, or failure trends.
  • Regularly present performance results and status updates to leadership and engineering.
  • Addresses critical production quality issues.
  • Regularly trains less experienced team members on QC techniques and processes. 
  • Utilize initiative and judgment to complete complex projects.
  • Transfer daily status information to other shift personnel, off-shift groups, and supervisors.
