Your role

As the  Intern Material Planner you will be working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is key, you will face new challenges every day, and “out of the box thinking” is strongly encouraged at Dell, your primary responsibility will be for planning and managing specific Dell Commercial Notebook Product lines in line with Sales Forecasts for the APJ region.

Dell is looking for interns who are eager to learn and can adapt easily to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving business. You’ll enjoy your internship with Dell if you are customer-focused, a team player, and like to challenge the norm.

You will:

  • Responsible for generating the Material Plan for Dell Storage products in the APJ Region
  • Monitor sales trends and Pipeline to ensure Forecast accuracy.
  • Report weekly on forecast attainment and forecast changes.
  • Learn forecasting techniques, collaboration with sales team and understanding the challenges of material forecasting.
  • Leverages advanced statistical models to provide forecasts based on demand characteristics.

  • Dell planning tools.

About you

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics or any related course, internship starts in Feb/Mar 2024
  • Preferable someone who has knowledge in using Power Bi and Excel to create dashboards, manage statistical modeling
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
