Responsibilities

• As a network engineer, you will be responsible for designing secure and innovative wireless & IoT network solutions to help support the digital transformation of business groups across Dell.
• You will work as part of the Dell Digital Edge Connectivity team, collaborating with partners and business groups, to research, evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging wireless network technologies to meet current and future business needs.
• You will:
• Design, implement and manage global wireless & IoT network infrastructure and management/authentication platforms.
• Test, configure and deploy operating system/software and updates using automation technologies.
• Provide ongoing information and reports to leadership, business groups, and peers regarding the network environment, enhancements & innovations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer incidents from operations teams.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interest in Wireless & IoT networks and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication, collaborative and innovation skills.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities and deliver against deadlines.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced team environments with limited supervision.
• Experience coding with at least one language like Python...etc.
• Knowledge of network and wireless & IoT technologies (IP, Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth, LoRaWan...etc).
