Your role

About the team

Global import-export in the world of ground-breaking technology is a complicated business. It takes real attention to detail to comply with all U.S. and regional import and export regulations. Dell's Import-Export team within Materials and Procurement provides trade compliance support for end-to-end order management and delivery processes. Dell is an expert in what it does, from assessing global trade risk and providing mitigation strategies, to delivering strategic and tactical support in developing international supply chains, to implementing strategies to reduce import expenses and auditing all documentation.

What you'll achieve

As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for working under direction to assist with standard import/export processes and procedures. You will be able to influence Dell’s future policies on managing trade compliance at a country, regional & global level. You will have a chance to obtain global content knowledge by leveraging content experts on country-specific requirements and their practical applications. 

Responsibilities

• Works under direction to assist with standard import/export processes and procedures
• Assists in communication/discussions with the freight forwarder/customer broker
• Supports small to medium-sized projects to help implement continuous improvement processes and policies
• With guided supervision, helps to maintain the company's Foreign trade data
• Assists with export compliance, export licensing, and order screening

About you

You will be the candidate if you meet the essential requirements below:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Supply Chain, logistics, or any related field
• Good knowledge of import and export requirements
• Has basic knowledge of international trade, operation, and compliance
• Determined and driven, has good communication skills

It will also be better to have the desirable qualifications below:

• The Thai language is a plus
• Knowledge of basic analytical tools (Excel, Power BI)
