Your role

Dell Technologies is ground-breaking at every level: in their design rooms, sales teams, marketing, and in their factories. As the primary logistics contact internally, Production Operations steers the daily workflow activities within the factory, managing operations processes and people to achieve quality output. Focused on achieving the required level of production on an hour-to-hour, daily, monthly, and yearly basis, they oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations. To do this, they work with a range of internal teams, including Operations, Logistics, Distribution, and IT.

What you'll achieve

As a Production Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair services of mechanical and electrical manufacturing systems, as well as the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. You will work with Operations, Logistics, and Distribution managers on implementing logistics initiatives.

What you'll do

• Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Researches and assists in expediting orders in the manufacturing facility to enhance the Customer Experience.
• Distributes weekly schedule and daily volume commits to outbound carriers and SLC’s.
• Serves as a logistics consultant for Direct Ship on CCA shipments and exception processes.
• Responsible for repair, preventative maintenance, data management, project support, control support, and ISO audits support.
