Your role

Role Purpose

• Handles all aspects of Software Engineering – business analysis, design, knowledge transfer, programming, testing, test automation, and documentation.
• Handles more customer and software development-centric tasks as compared to document-driven driven.

Key activities

• Provide IT support for DHL’s proprietary application software under the IT Team's responsibility.
• Monitors & fixes the IT applications issues for support (incident ticket) based on SLA and ensures users and other interested parties are kept informed proactively.
• Negotiates with users, specialists, staff, and suppliers with respect to emergencies, routine and unscheduled maintenance, and the introduction of amendments to the provision of services to ensure business disruptions are kept to a minimum.
• Reviews effectiveness and efficiency in assigned areas of responsibility and takes action to improve quality of service, performance, and availability.
• Provides expert advice, training, and technical assistance to other teams related to software development processes/ solutions.
• Actively involved in new systems development, system enhancements, and support of DHL applications.

Training & development
