Your role

About the team

When you design unconventional and smarter products, you need an unconventional and smarter supply chain. Dyson's Global Supply Chain team works across Dyson, supporting the company's Research Design and Development (RDD) and its business categories. Whichever part of Dyson's business you’re supporting, you’ll be playing a vital role in strategic decision-making, affecting the design of Dyson's machines and the growth ambitions of the business. The Supply Chain comprises Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Planning, and Aftersales.

About the role

Dyson’s Global Supply Chain Graduate Programme is a 2-year programme. Under the Engineering track, you’ll have exciting opportunities to work in a variety of areas in Tooling, Manufacturing Process, and Manufacturing Automation.

With rotations in three different Supply Chain areas, you will be provided with the opportunity to build a comprehensive knowledge of our Supply Chain functions in practice. The program has been designed to develop the next generation of Supply Chain leaders. Together with colleagues across the globe, you’ll innovate and push boundaries, improving Dyson'ss processes and creating a sustainable tomorrow.

About you

Dyson's graduate roles are competitive and delivering the next generation of Dyson technology is tough, so you will need to be: 

• Working towards or having achieved a relevant engineering or related discipline degree.  
• Sound understanding of basic mechanical/product design principles and the development of products and technologies through prototyping and testing
• Basic knowledge and understanding of multiple tooling and manufacturing techniques.
• Experience with SAP, SAP BW, Tableau, and/or other reporting tools will be an advantage
• Strong drive to find creative solutions to new challenges
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience and respond constructively to new demands and challenges.
• Passionate about Dyson and its technology to help the company meets its ambitious plans. 
• Able to evidence how you have applied your knowledge to solve problems, either through your university projects or as part of your extra-curricular activities. 
• To be eligible you will need to have no more than two years of relevant work experience post-graduation (Ph.D. students are not eligible for this graduate program).
