To be responsible for direct and indirect materials planning, purchasing and inventory control
To be responsible for cost negotiation, quotation comparison and analysis
To be responsible for purchasing related duties such as purchase order issuance, follow up expected delivery and payment or etc.
To source and develop new potentials supplier/vendor for indirect materials
To monitor inventory level for indirect material, forecast and raise PO when stock level reach minimum level, responsible to ensure material meet demand.
To handle internal and external customer enquiries/feedback
To liaison with supplier/vendor to solve delivery or quality issues and ensure the quality of purchase of goods and service meet the internal pre-set standard for direct and indirect materials
Establish a good relationship with both local and oversea suppliers
To prepare monthly delivery report and evaluate performance of supplier
Participate as a team in planning / purchasing to ensure the smooth supply of material from supplier to mass production
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Business related studies
Good communication and negotiation skills
Able to work under stress and willing to travel
Possess strong planning and organizational capabilities
Able to work in challenging & fast paced environment with minimum supervision
Outgoing and proactive personality is an added advantage
