Our program starts with fully-funded training through the FDM Academy, led by our expert training team, to get you job-ready in 6-14 weeks, depending on the career pathway you choose from either the technical or business streams.

How is the FDM Business Intelligence Program structured?

Your journey will begin with training out of FDM’s Academy. Like all interviews and assessments, this is done remotely in response to Covid-19, to ensure the safety of our community. You will receive the chance to gain industry-recognised qualifications, as well as mentoring and support throughout. After successfully completing your training, you’ll have the technical and professional skills you need to step into an integral position with one or more of our industry-leading, multinational clients in Australia during the two-year program.

What will I be doing?

From Day One as an FDM Business Intelligence Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in analysing and interpreting data to improve the operations and the performance of your company. Collaborating closely with the IT team, you’ll develop strategies to help the business gain and maintain a competitive advantage.

Based on your dedicated training you’ll become an expert at using the latest technology or machine learning to gather crucial insights before communicating your analysis to the high-level decision-makers of global businesses.

No two days will be alike as you grow with this role - learning how to design and develop analytics tools and platforms to analyse data essential to maximising profitability, productivity and efficiency.

Sharing your problem-solving abilities and innovative solutions will not just be personally rewarding but highly regarded by your team.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree, STEM major not required
• An analytical, problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication skills and eagerness to build relationships
• Passion to work within the IT industry & the ambition to succeed
• Ability to commit to completing our full 2.5-year graduate program – whether eligible under a single visa or as an Australian citizen/permanent resident
• Geographic flexibility throughout Sydney and Melbourne to support our top-tier clients
