About The Role

We are looking for a talented Demand Planning Executive who is able to support the expansive growth of our dark store business, pandamart. The role will directly influence the day-to-day decision making within our supply chain vertical across our Malaysia portfolio. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur and will report to the Supply Chain Lead.

Responsibilities

• Translate market demand into a holistic supply plan for order placement to suppliers to achieve timely replenishment and business continuity
• Place Purchase Orders daily to suppliers ensuring stock continuity supporting the growth of our Dark Store network
• Ensuring all Purchase Orders are fulfilled OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) by suppliers
• Define order volumes based on adjusted aggregated store demand, available inventory and sell-out rate
• Create mid to long-term demand forecast accounting for various fluctuations (e.g. promotional activities, seasonality, etc.) to achieve greater stock availability at our stores
• Liaise with Commercial, Operations and Marketing teams to continuously improve sales opportunities
• Perform root-cause analysis to improve the key service metrics, reduce forecast errors, improve supplier performance and share the output with appropriate stakeholders
• Monitor Supplier performance and engage in initiatives to improve the SLAs

Requirements

• Degree in Business, SCM, Logistics, Accounting or any related field
• Analytical mind and business acumen with the ability to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends and to form conclusions based on findings.
• Ability to manage complexity and be comfortable with ambiguity
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
