You will enjoy having these responsibilities:
Reporting to the Bids & Procurement Project Manager, the candidate will be ready to support Project Procurement activities.
- Assist in coordinating the procurement processes with multiple stakeholders for the relevant bids and projects.
- Work closely with PPM to analyze the customers' needs and context, and to set out the expectations for the Category Team
- Assist the PPM to oversee the subcontractors and serve as the interface between procurement and project on all acquisition matters
- Assist PPM in coordinating ALL acquisition activities for all the projects assigned.
- Work closely with the Category team to secure the necessary materials and ensure project milestones are maintained.
- Coordinate and assist PPM with raising the necessary Purchase Orders and ensuring all materials are secured as per the Procurement Project Plan.
- Look into streamlining the various business processes within the Procurement activities and suggest and provide ideas for improvements.
- Follow up with suppliers Supplier On Time Delivery (SOTD) Key Performance Index (KPI).
You have:
- Bachelor level in a relevant discipline (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, Maths, Finance, Law, or any other academic subject area).
- Postgraduate qualifications are welcome but not essential.
- Strong MS Office skills, for example, proficient knowledge of Sharepoint, PowerAutomate, SAP By Design, Excel, and PowerPoint, will be necessary throughout this role.
- The ability to manage shareholders and build strong relationships.
- The skills to grasp complex technical concepts quickly, including process flows and policies.
- The ability to collate information and produce comprehensive reports.
- An eye for detail and the ability to analyze problems and develop practical solutions.
- The skills to plan and organize workload and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
