Your role

The candidate will support the Personal Financial Services Deposits Team in 

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Sorting, compiling, and organizing data from various sources
  • Copywriting corporate letters, emails, and marketing material
  • Schedule meetings and trainings, taking attendance for those that are compulsory

Monitoring the daily activities and progress of all Mobile Deposit Specialists (MDS) Tracking and reporting

  • Tracking their account opening figures and account details to ensure that it is updated and completed on time
  • Send reminders to those who are not updating
  • Report to the MDS Manager on daily total figures
  • Track MDS movement (i.e. those who have resigned, new MDS, etc.)

Management

  • Create Excel templates each month for tracking
  • Schedule MDS meetings and trainings
  • Respond to inquiries and issues that MDS is facing
  • Collect certain documents from MDS
  • Create and continuously update the MDS directory that includes their contact details
  • Map MDS to leads according to branch postcode locations for campaign launching and tracking.
  • Create guides to instruct MDS on certain processes
  • Compile complaints sent in by MDS.

 Data analysis

  • Present data visually eg via bar charts, pie charts, and line charts 
  • Create graphs to present trends in Fixed Deposits
  • Create graphs to present MDS productivity and progress

Support the launch of the Junior App campaign 

  • Copywrite marketing materials including soft launch teasers across all channels

Training & development

The program serves to provide vital experience for students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical work experience, enabling them to develop skills that will provide them with an invaluable head start in their future careers.

As explained in the video, HLB designed a 70:20:10 framework where 70% of you will be involved in a real project, 20% will work directly with professional seniors, and 10% will join in-class training.

About you

  • Malaysian citizen;
  • Undergraduate/ graduate in any field of study from a local or international university
  • Possess a CGPA / GPA score of 3.0 and above, or equivalent. 
  • Able to commit to the entire duration of the program (8 weeks)
  • Able to demonstrate leadership qualities and ability to overcome challenges through degree or extra-curricular activities;
  • Displays enthusiasm when given tasks, able to communicate with people at various seniority levels and work cohesively in a project or team environment;
  • Possess the passion and motivation to push for growth and success in the banking and financial industry.
