Your role

The Islamic Graduate Trainee Programme is an 18-month program that prepares young and talented HLB future leaders. The trainees will participate in taking on the roles of Islamic Compliance, Investment Account, Product Development, Automation Support, Shariah, Deposit and Financing, Islamic Wealth and Business Operation, and Islamic Business Corporate Banking.

Training, development & rotation

The Islamic Graduate Trainee Programme is a great opportunity for young talents to undergo the journey of job rotations through the front and mid/back offices of Islamic Banking. The 18-month program will equip you with knowledge, skills, and practical experience to take on the role of Islamic Compliance, Investment Account, Product Development, Automation Support, Shariah, Deposit & Financing, Islamic Wealth & Business Operation, and Islamic Business Corporate Banking. You will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives, gain a breadth of experience, and engage with senior business leaders of the bank.

Career progression

The trainees will get intensive development in the Operational of Islamic Banking. It is an acceleration program where the trainees will be prepared to be the leaders at HLB. Upon the completion of the program, there will be a landing job. Your performance and skills will be strongly considered for the future placement. 

Work-life balance

Based on information from another source, the average work-life balance rate given by employees at Hong Leong Bank is 2.9 out of 5. The workload given is also acceptable as described first. In addition, HLB applied common working hours, not exceeding more than 8 hours per day and more than 45 hours per week. However, you must work overtime at the end of the month of the year.

About you
