Your role

As a Regional Wealth Management Intern, you will be responsible for the following roles:

• Analyze monthly sales productivity, product participation, wealth penetration, and portfolio growth to identify opportunities for improvement and implementation of necessary changes.
• Help the sales leaders in providing data, feedback, and development tools to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
• To ensure pipeline and sales tracking is updated.
• Analyze portfolio management framework to increase product holdings.  
• Develop slides for weekly sales meetings.

Training & development

The internship at HLB typically runs for 8-12 weeks. It provides the opportunity for students to gain knowledge and experience related to their field of study while reaffirming their career aspirations in the banking industry. As explained in the video, HLB designed a 70:20:10 framework where 70% of you will be involved in a real project, 20% will work directly with professional seniors, and 10% will join in-class training.

About you

• Malaysian citizen
• Preferably undergraduate/ graduate in Economics, Accounting & Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science or relevant field.
• Possess a CGPA / GPA score of 3.0 and above, or equivalent.
• Able to commit to the entire duration of the program (minimum of 12 weeks);
• Able to demonstrate leadership qualities and ability to overcome challenges through degree or extra-curricular activities.
• Displays enthusiasm when given tasks, is able to communicate with people at various seniority levels, and works cohesively in a project or team environment.
• Possess the passion and motivation to push for growth and success in the banking and financial industry.
