Your role

As an Application Developer at Huawei Malaysia, you will have the duties and responsibilities below:

  • Taking part in the IT department which involves end-to-end application/software development, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Able to take part in communication with the end-user, understand their need, and provide a workable solution to users.
  • Improving application by having agile development, identifying common issues, and providing the solution to patch.
  • Maintaining existing applications, and tools from time to time, including upgrades, security enhancement, and so on.
  • Learning with regional IT, and headquarters IT team members, with necessary goal planning.
  • Taking part in PaaS, and SaaS platforms, managing and performing O&M on current resources.

About you

If you are interested to apply for this role, here are the professional requirements you need to meet:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other preferably other IT related field
  • At least one year of working experience in the IT field. Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Able to code and understand how the algorithm works, regardless of any language.
  • Web development experience, including but not limited to HTML, CSS(bootstrap, element UI, etc.), JavaScript(EC5 and above), JQuery, RESTful API, PHP, etc.
  • Experience at least one back-end language knowledge or framework: JAVA, JAVA spring boot, and other JAVA MVC framework
  • Understanding of how Client-Server/ front-end backend architecture.
  • Understand modern web development common issues and know how to avoid, and how utilize browser development tools. 8. Understand how PaaS and SaaS solutions are working.
