Responsibilities

  • Manage the receivables for collection portfolio assigned and ensure all overdue by customers are paid promptly by calling and other means of reaching out to clients, arranging for settlement and maintaining customer relations.
  • Organize collection to meet Operational Targets/ Measurements.
  • Attend AR Review calls with the management and CFO. Provide complete and solid collection status and progress updates.
  • Plan and implement collection strategies and engage in the direct collection of receivables.
  • Work closely with Cash Application Team to advise and ensure that payments are allocated/apply correctly, including clearing UAC (Unapplied Cash/Credit) within the controlled timeline.
  • Coordinate with credit special handling / legal for exceptional, problematic or suspicious customers and provide case histories where applicable to minimize bad debt and loss from fraud.
  • Dealing with credit suspended account tactfully and coordinating collection actions with Special Handling & solicitor.
  • Reconcile, liaise with dispute coordinator, salesperson, accountants, treasury & management team to ensure & meet target DDO (Days delinquent overdue) and other measurements.
  • End to end process & prior exposure in the supply chain, contract & billings and order management.
  • Updating collection comments promptly and completely into the online tool, to ensure meeting the Collection Comments targets and maintain good controls posture.
  • Provide SOX testing and audit support as required.
  • Expected to work on Malaysia public holidays based on the country supported. May expected to work on weekends when business is required.

Requirements

  • Fresh graduate and experienced candidates are welcome to apply
  • Bachelor degree in any major
  • Excellent Ms. Office: Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Good analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus point.
  • Knowledge in leasing/financing business or account receivable is an additional plus point.
