Your role

As a Technology Engineer within IBM Client Engineering, you’ll help deliver unique client co-creation experiences to accelerate their transformation. From the identification of requirements to technical decisions impacting the business case, you’ll lead all aspects of integrated solutions.

• Combining contemporary cloud skills (e.g., AI, analytics, DevOps, DevSecOps, automation, security, networking, and storage, etc.,) with deep industry expertise, and an understanding of your dedicated set of clients’ businesses.
• Defining and communicating the differentiated value of IBM’s technology – technically and commercially.
• Being the technical specialist for client sessions that include a broad range of public and hybrid cloud technologies – Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Cloud Paks, and IBM Cloud Platform.
• Supporting the solutions architecture plan whilst being a hands-on “builder” in client-facing engagements.
• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work in rapid client engagements.

Compensation & benefits

Various roles in the Sales department (non-senior/manager) at IBM Malaysia earn from MYR 38,000 to MYR 53,000 per year. About you

Required technical and professional expertise you should have to apply for this role:

• You are in your final year of tertiary education OR have graduated from university no earlier than 2021.
• You studied a technical degree i.e., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent subject.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills that are equally engaging, compelling, and influential.

Preferred technical and professional expertise

• 1 year of software sales experience with demonstrable examples of contributing to the solving of clients’ problems.
• Hands-on exposure to real-world applications of computer science, information systems, or engineering concepts.
