Your role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the effective management of daily operations while providing high standards in operational hygiene factors and contributing to the profitability of the business where the main responsibility for the department is on the maintenance of the center.
Ensuring that the operations achieve optimum performance and efficiency through the appointed outsource vendors and daily maintenance by the team.
Implementing consistent monitoring and reviewing of IKEA's operational processes
Ensuring efficiency and productivity in maintaining the center and safeguarding the building is in shape as new,
Providing a good environment for IKEA's customers, tenants, and co-workers as well as practicing a long-term maintenance plan
Job description
General Maintenance:
To support in maintaining, servicing, repairing, and ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, Architectural, LPG gas systems and Buildings are in good working condition at all times.
To assist in performing regular checking of the facility and taking corrective action(s) where required.
To provide a safe, clean, and functional environment as well as providing a comprehensive maintenance service to the building equipment and machines.
To support and monitor external contractors and ensure services are carried out according to the scope of work stipulated in the contract.
To take daily/weekly/monthly utility (Electricity and Water) meter readings for all the tenants.
To support and maintain operating logs on all equipment; record, correct, and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences
To assist with regulatory inspection.
Safety and Security:
To assist safety and security officers when the need arises to maintain safety equipment e.g. fire Protection system, Fire Door, CCTV, PA System, and Intrusion Alarm System.
To support safety and security officers in maintaining safety equipment in the building according to the SecCheck manual.
