Job Description
People and GAT group to learn and support the delivery of Data and Analytics to Intel's Human Resource community. During the internship period, you will be part of an Agile Persistent Team(APT) to learn and experience HR-related data ingestion, analysis and validation, data flow mapping, data model design, and development of reporting/analytics solutions to enable our business stakeholders to make good decisions.
Qualifications
- Undergrad pursuing Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or any related fields.
- Able to undergo internship for at least 6 months.
- Have a strong interest in learning and venturing into Microsoft Analytics stacks, eg. MSSQL, PowerBI, Azure.
- Essential technical skills required include SQL programming, Advanced Excel, Data Manipulation and Analysis, Data Visualization, Microsoft Office tools proficiency, etc.
- Fundamental understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and technical acumen of R or Python statistical programming language for predictive and prescriptive analytics is a bonus.
- Knowledge of Human Resource data acumen is an added advantage.
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate complex and ambiguous issues to various audiences.
- Applicants should be a self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility for projects and initiatives combined with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
- Demonstrate competence or is interested to learn and applying technologies to enable business process and system improvement.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centres, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
