Your role

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be a full member of the SCRUM teams and work closely with Product Managers on solving real problems for the 100mn users. Learn how teamwork in an Agile software engineering cycle works and deploy changes to production on a day-by-day basis. No matter whether you are interested in big data, modern Front-end development, or Cloud Infrastructure, iPrice has something exciting and challenging for you.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Take full ownership of the delivery and quality of Full Stack projects solving real problems
  • Collaborate closely with product & data teams to translate requirements into technical designs
  • Develop, test, and deploy code that is part of a product used by millions of people every month
  • Maintain high-quality standards for data pipelines and user experience from mobile to desktop
  • Quickly debug and analyze issues that affect the performance and usability of the platforms
  • Deliver incremental results live on the site weekly with the support of an agile team

About you

To apply for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related subject
  • Actively developing or contributing to Open Source projects on GitHub
  • Positive, go-to attitude, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Strong drive to find, analyze, and solve complex software problems
  • First experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or PHP/Python
  • Understanding of Source Control tools and related practices like Git
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and Docker is a plus
