Working with other members of our team, you'll help deliver complex technical projects whil applying GIS technology. You will leverage your Geospatial skills and collaborate with experts in various disciplines. The GIS Analyst will undertake assigned edit tasks in the required timeframes and communicate progress regarding any issues to the Spatial Section Manager on a timely manner.

Cadastral Project 

  • Ability to read and understand property maps/Subdivision and Cadastral plans and related source documents to create and update an accurate property database as well as understand bearing and distance, and search adjoining land parcel.
  • You will perform edits on property map layers through the use of a customized system based on ArcGIS and Oracle/SQL-Server database software and comply with the QA procedures and processes to ensure data integrity and compliance to the client’s specifications.

Airborne Image Processing

  • Ensure project setup is ready for orthorectification
  • Execute Orthorectifcation in timely manner for RGB, CIR and LWIR 
  • Perform quality checks on generated mosaics (RGB, COR and LWIR)
  • Timely upload mosaics that passed QC to Client 

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • The GIS analyst,should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Survey, GIS. Computer Science, or Engineering 
  • Demonstrates knowledge in photogrammetry (i.e. elevation, triangulation, remote sensing, image science, Band alingment, orthorectification, etc )
  • Good knowledge and understanding use of GIS/ CAD software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Arcinfo and AutoCAD
  • Good communication and written skills 
  • Creative in problem solving related to Cadastral Propoerty and Airborne Image processing (crabbing/tilting issues) 
  • Able to work in a team oriented, colloborative environment and be able to elicit co worker and inter-department cooperation.
