- Experience in designing and developing Java-based enterprise applications that are highly scalable, resilient, fault-tolerant with self-healing ability
- Strong Knowledge of Core Java technology, including knowledge of the latest JDK (8 and higher)
- Experience working with JEE-based applications and relevant frameworks such as Struts, Spring (mandatory), Hibernate, etc.
- Hands-on experience in RDBMS, SQL using Oracle 10g or higher, MS SQL server
- Working knowledge of No-SQL dBs such as Mongo, Cassandra
- Knowledge and experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Independent and highly motivated individual with high-impact communication and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Reasonable handle on client-side technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other Technical degrees with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A minimum of 2+ years of demonstrated relevant software development experience
- Programming experience with Java with an understanding of OOP, Java EE and knowledge of web application development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Knowledge of Spring, REST Services, Microservices, AWS, SQL
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly/accurately to technical/non-technical audiences and work in a collaborative team with adjusting priorities and deadlines.
- US Citizen or a Green Card Holder is a must with an H4 Visa
