Your role

This program aims to equip candidates with the necessary skills in the data and analytics space. At the end of this program, candidates can expect to have technical and functional capabilities which are essential for the Software Engineer role. Some of the focus of this program will be:

Responsibilities

  • Concepting, creating, and building software/applications alongside the graphic design team, including taking designer wireframes and magically turning them into effective code.
  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Working through the website development lifecycle to launch.
  • Designing user-based interactions through effective front-end architecture.
  • Developing functional databases, applications, and servers to support its websites on the back end.
  • Coding for various platforms to ensure functionality across multiple channels.
  • Developing best practices for the Full Stack Developer team.
  • Determining application responsiveness for consumers.
  • Ensuring company mandate is effectively addressed in technical and developmental aspects.
  • Managing database administration and hosting duties.
  • Troubleshooting issues and problem-solving as necessary.
  • Keeping current with industry trends and developments that can be applied to company and clients' needs

About you

The requirements and qualifications for the role are as follows :

  • Availability of 6 months and above.
  • Bachelor’s degree with – IT related: Computer Science equivalent
  • Comfortable working with complex business processes
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Scrum or Hybrid Scrum methodology would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skill.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with any of the following:
  • Frontend fundamentals: HTML5, Bootstrap/CSS, JS.
  • Web-oriented development languages: JS, JSON, PHP, Python, or others.
  • Frontend framework: React, Vue.js, Angular, Django, Node.js, or others.
  • SQL or Non-SQL.
  • Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, etc) will be an added advantage.
