Your role

As an intern, your responsibilities include:

• Perform the administrative tasks of the Commercial Lines Underwriting department with Microsoft Excel. One of the major administrative tasks includes tabulating and comparing hard-coded clauses between three systems
• Assist in the reissuance of policy and other documentation
• Posting underwriting transactions and other related task
• Issuing quotations 
• Preparing and issuing renewal notice
• Assist in organizing policies, forms, and formatting in the commercial lines system.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks may be assigned by the manager from time to time.

Requirements for this internship:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Insurance or Actuarial Science.
• Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
• Beginner to Intermediate in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines 
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
