Your role

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the organization's sustainability efforts.

As an intern, your responsibilities include:

Compliance and Regulatory Environment:

• Gain an understanding of the expectations and requirements related to sustainability set by the Malaysia National Bank (Bank Negara Malaysia).
• Learn about compliance processes and procedures to ensure the organization meets sustainability standards.

CSR Programs and Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Get an overview of the company's CSR initiatives and how they contribute to sustainability.
• Participate in the planning and execution of ongoing CSR projects, involving both environmental and social aspects.
• Interact with different departments to understand their roles in sustainability.
• Take part in cross-functional meetings to contribute ideas and gain insights from various teams.

Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management:

• Gain practical experience in measuring and managing greenhouse gas emissions.
• Support the sustainability team in the data collection process.
• Assist in preparing emissions reports to track and improve the company's environmental performance.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, business administration, business management, or related disciplines).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle data accurately.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
