Overview of the role

Reporting to the Head of DEX, the Finance Data & Process Manager is responsible for:

  • Managing Asia Chart of Account setting and usage as per group standard.
  • Deploying worldwide COA governance work in the region, as regional master data manager.
  • Ensuring Chart of Account maintenance process, data quality and KPIs.
  • Providing leadership role in driving COA standardization and process harmonization.

Responsibilities

Chart of Account Management

  • Responsible for group OCOA, PCOA are properly used in Asia countries.
  • Validate LCOA usage. Provide guidance to SSC operations and countries for LCOA setup and usage.
  • Provide arbitration with group for new OCOA, PCOA setup / modifications as regional master data owner.
  • Ensure OCOA, PCOA, LCOA maintenance process in place, with well-defined governance and control framework.
  • Drive harmonized OCOA, PCOA, LCOA processes cross countries and SAP platforms.
  • Ensure the correct mapping between LCOA, OCOA, PCOA in all Asia SAP platforms.
  • Ensure proper controls in place for budget nature mapping by working closely with zone controlling MDM.
  • Continuously drive COA improvements for Asia countries, in terms of data quality. Monitor and own COA KPIs result for Asia.
  • Provide COA guidance and suggestions to new business imperatives.
  • Be a strong Liaison with group MDM, zone controlling MDM and purchasing to deploy monthly and annual master data changes as zone (regional) master data manager.
  • Manage IT for COA requests, demands, and projects. Increase speed in implementation of IT solutions.
  • Manage Master Data Maintenance (COA) deliverables by Accenture, to ensure all pre-defined SLAs are met.
  • Work closely with DEX managers on accounting projects or process changes by providing COA inputs.

Who we are looking for

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, and regulations in Asia.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP about master data and accounting process flow.
  • CPA or equivalent is a must.
  • Experience in a multinational company or shared services organization strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage complexity and communications.
