Overview of the role

Reporting to the Fixed Assets Lead, the Fixed Assets Account is responsible for:

  • Daily operations of fixed assets accounting as per the pre-defined activities, process and policy.
  • Routine checks on fixed assets control points to ensure meeting group accounting standards.
  • Provide technical support for IRFS16 lease accounting and SLAN operations.

Responsibilities

Fixed Assets Management

  • Perform routine checks on accounting controls for fixed asset cycle, by ensuring the right execution by Accenture and BSC
  • Execute fixed assets processes and desktop procedures to ensure the pre-defined fixed assets policy, process and tools are properly deployed in daily operations.
  • As key player of lease contracts maintenance in SLAN. Ensure the system flow, accounting entries are correctly flowed into SAP by meeting group standards and pre-defined process.
  • Review and validate business inputs to ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Review Accenture fixed assets operational deliverables and ensure solid checks and controls in place.
  • Review fixed assets accounts reconciliations prepared by Accenture, including fixed assets movements and AUC analysis.
  • Work closely with Accenture and countries to resolve fixed assets issues and controls defects.
  • Act as key contact, or key user for fixed assets accounting, liaison with countries, Accenture, and IT for system UAT.
  • Work closely with DEX team, fixed assets lead and countries to ensure proper fixed assets physical count by following group standards.
  • A key player in contributing BSC fixed assets deliverables and operational KPI.

Who we are looking for

  • Knowledge in fixed assets accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS16, accounting standards and regulations in Asia.
  • Solid knowledge of fixed assets accounting process, AUC process and ERP (SAP) system.
  • CPA or equivalent is a plus
  • Experience in a multinational company or shared services organization strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage complexity and communications.
