Your role

Join Maxis as an IT Cloud Engineer Intern and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the cloud-based infrastructure. This internship offers hands-on experience in cloud engineering, allowing you to develop and enhance your skills in a dynamic environment.

In this role, you will do the tasks below:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networks, and databases.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Aid in monitoring and analyzing cloud infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring optimal system health and availability.
• Security and Compliance: Contribute to ensuring the security and compliance of cloud environments by implementing best practices, managing access controls, and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document system configurations, architectural designs, and standard operating procedures.
• Continuous Learning: Take advantage of the internship to learn and enhance your cloud engineering skills, experiment with new tools and technologies, and stay updated with industry best practices.

About you

Currently pursuing tertiary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT - Cloud & Network, or a related field.
