Your role

Maxis’ Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs (PROTÉGÉ) program is Maxis' commitment to helping young Malaysian talents and the nation to always be ahead and to add value to the national economy. Maxis is offering an opportunity for you to be part of the PROTÉGÉ program at Maxis, which aims to develop and guide you with the necessary skills and experience to get ahead in this ever-changing world.

What are you accountable for

• Perform duties authorized by specific laws and regulations such as enforcement, financial, procurement, or compliance tasks;
• Handle sensitive tasks involving potential safety threats and requiring access to and management of classified files and documents and
• Sensitive tasks such as big risk threats towards safety and needs for access and file/documents management at different levels.
• Sign official documents or make official decisions on behalf of the government such as approving building plans, granting research loans, etc.
• Provide social services such as caring for the elderly, children, and disabled in nursing homes or
• Work on seasonal, ad-hoc, project, or program-based tasks like data entry, census taking, etc.

About you

For this role, you need to meet the qualifications below:

• Malaysian citizen
• Fresh graduates with a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in  in IT, Science or Software Engineering from any local or foreign higher learning institution that is recognised by the Government of Malaysia
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Obtain CGPA 3.0 and above (or equivalent)
• Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
• Computer literacy in basic Microsoft Office
• Strong team player, self-motivated, driven, and willing to learn
• Preference will be given to graduates with no prior working experience and who are currently unemployed
• Duration of Programme: 12 Months

Training & development

This program will be for 12 months and will have a combination of intensive soft-skill classroom training and on-the-job training opportunities. You will learn practical skills and real-life experiences at Maxis that will help guide you toward a successful future.
