What are you accountable for

• Contribute to a strong team culture in a dynamic work environment with multi cross-functional teamwork. Identify and analyze the issues that impact the systems, and work collaboratively with the application teams and other supporting teams to recommend solutions for the issues.
• Embrace ITIL methodology to practice IT asset management inclusive of component inventory maintenance using CMDB.
• Work with cross-functional teams to create an auditable, monitored, and incident-responsive CI/CD pipeline with gated approval workflow and release tracking to continuously build, test, integrate, and deployment for security control, applications & platforms to be compliant with landing zone specifications.
• Good experience in maintaining and supporting multi-tenant IaaS and PaaS cloud solutions in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Administer AWS infrastructure including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), SC, Identity Access Management (IAM), Elastic Block Store (EBS), Security Groups, Auto Scaling, etc.
• Responsible for operation, recovery, and performance tuning with proven knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Proactively Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues. Conduct regular reviews of existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for deploying and managing cloud resources. Ensure the security, availability, and performance of cloud-based systems and applications. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and services, resolving issues promptly.
• Update policy and procedure documentation in key areas such as infrastructure lifecycles, vendor management, and resource onboarding processes; review existing IT processes and controls, assess gaps, and recommend/execute remediation plans.
• Equipped with cloud technology skillsets such as computing, storage, database, microservices, networking, virtualization, and Operating Systems(Linux, Windows Server, etc)
• Work closely with the security team to implement platform security hardening and design patterns to improve the security posture. Partner with platform engineering team and delivery team to ensure a smooth transition of platforms to support, including recommendations for future automation, performance, and capacity targets.
• Deliver high customer (i.e. business user) satisfaction on incidents and service requests.

About you

For this role, you need to meet the qualifications below:

• Malaysian citizen
• Fresh graduates with a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/ Network/Computer Science from any local or foreign higher learning institution that is recognized by the Government of Malaysia
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Obtain CGPA 3.0 and above (or equivalent).
• Possess basic technical knowledge in cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and Ali Cloud.
• Equipped with knowledge and experience in Ansible/Terraform scripting, GitHub, CloudFormation, and other DevOps tools.
• Strong team player, self-motivated, driven, and willing to learn.
• Preference will be given to graduates with no prior working experience and who are currently unemployed.
• Duration of Programme: 12 Months
