A career with McKinsey is an opportunity to work directly with senior leaders—in Malaysia, across Southeast Asia, and beyond—to shape growth and change in major enterprises and public organizations, and for entire countries.

McKinsey allows you to explore many different industries and functions in a short period. You learn real problem-solving and communication skills that are very useful in whatever you ever will do in your professional life. You will meet people and build a lasting network for life.

Work-life balance:

A very friendly culture, enabled by no revenue/ business targets and encouragement/obligation for collaboration.

Best brilliant people, great training, incredible opportunities for meaningful impact, improved approach to work-life balance/flexibility (Some work 4 days per week), and lots of client time.

McKinsey has made huge leaps in implementing formal processes, as well as leadership training, to create a more sustainable lifestyle in the last 10 years. The popular myth that everyone is working till midnight, is frankly an old tale (though of course there are specific projects and days when the late night is required at times).
