Lead a team to receive and record new stock as it's delivered or shipped out by analyzing different suppliers, recording daily deliveries, and evaluating new shipments
Lead a team to receive and record return stock from production by analyzing usage and part functionality
Lead a team to promote and sustain a high level of productivity and safety throughout a workspace
Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels
Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
Ensure the business has the stock needed to run smoothly while minimize stock costs
Tracking current production levels and recording purchases and products in a warehouse
Review purchase orders to ensure they're accurate before processing them with suppliers and checking stock status by performing physical counts on shelves or in trucks
Calculating inventory reorder points to reduce inventory cost, reduces stock outs, and improves forecasting
Identifying and salvage slow-moving or obsolete inventory
Managing scrap to reduce the volume of scrap generated
