Your role

Nestlé believes in giving people opportunities to make an early impact, maximizing their talents, and supporting their individuality. The Nestlé Malaysia Apprentice Program is a 12-months program which is designed specifically for young talents to equip them with the right skill sets to excel in a fast-paced business environment. Through this program, apprentices will enable the organization to achieve its business strategy of building a talent pipeline for future vacancies. 

In this program, you will be assigned to your chosen function and perform specific tasks or projects and responsibilities. You will gain basic skills and competencies of the core function through 'work with', projects, and assignments throughout the 12 months. This would give you the width of experience and exposure to help you understand your niche and how you would want to advance your career in Nestlé. 

Training & development

The program framework consists of one phase throughout its 12 months stipulated training period across Technical & Production and Factory Supply Chain functions. The phase includes the following activity:

• Nestle onboarding and induction program to provide an understanding of company culture, values, and strategic business overview.
• Apprentices will be assigned to their chosen functions and perform specific tasks or projects and responsibilities. Apprentices will gain basic skills and competencies of the core function through ‘workwiths’, projects, and assignments throughout the 12 months. This would give them the width of experience and exposure to help them understand their niche and how they would want to advance their careers in Nestlé.
• Functional and leadership training to provide necessary soft-skill training courses to enhance apprentices' management & leadership skills.

Work-life balance

No issues were found related to working hours at Nestle, whether it is in their office or plants. Regular working hours, even flexible hours applied in the head office, and normal shift hours in the factory/production. Specifically for this role, you will be placed in the office in Kuala Lumpur where the working hours start at 08:30 AM and end at 05:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

About you

To join Nestle Malaysia in this Apprentice Program, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Fresh graduates with less than 1 year of working experience.
• CGPA of 3.2 and above.
• Willing to be based in Shah Alam, Chembong, or Kuching.
• A great team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Interest in having hands-on experience in the FMCG industry.
• Able to commit for a minimum of 12 months.
