About the program

The Nestlé Management Trainee Programme is geared towards developing high-potential individuals as future leaders in various aspects of the business. This two-year program provides Management Trainees with a real immersive learning experience to equip them with a holistic view of the business, as well as the interrelationships between different functions across the value chain.

Role description

As a Management Trainee - Supply Chain, you will be a part of the value chain that manages product delivery to retail shelves, ensuring they are planned, produced, and delivered in full, on time, and in fresh condition through timely demand and supply planning, strategic procurement, warehouse using and transportation.

Training & development

This Management Trainee is a two-year program that will provide you with a real immersive learning experience to equip you with a holistic view of the business, as well as the interrelationships between different functions across the value chain. 

Nestle provides professional coaching through a robust Coaching Network of internal and external coaches. On a daily basis, coaching tools and methodologies are available to all employees through Nestle Everyday Coaching training and practices. 70% of learning happens through experience, such as work shadowing in a completely new position that you are unfamiliar with; 20% of the learning comes through relationships, for example, from receiving feedback, coaching, or mentoring; and 10% comes from education, for example, training, attending conferences or completing e-learning. Work-life balance

No issues were found related to working hours at Nestle, whether it is in their office or plants. Regular working hours, even flexible hours applied in the head office, and normal shift hours in the factory/production. Specifically for this role, you will be placed in the office in Kuala Lumpur where the working hours start at 08:30 AM and end at 05:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

About you

• Degree holder with a minimum CGPA of 3.2 or its equivalent
• Fresh graduate or with not more than 2 years of working experience
• Active involvement in extra Co-curricular activities
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong leadership skills and confident
• Ability to work well independently and in a team
