Your role

The intern will be assisting the executive in-charge/superior on the task as per below:

• Consolidating submissions from all units in the division for reporting
• Analyzing data & providing analysis in terms of financial and project management view.
• Facilitate any issue that arises regarding to planning and payment process.
• Assist on ad hoc requests for planning matters in terms of reporting and presentation.
• Implement initiatives for continuous improvement of planning & payment process
• Plan and organize sessions to share any updates.

Training & development

PETRONAS Internship Opportunity Program provides undergraduates with experiential learning opportunities and first working exposure in the energy industry. You can engage in various areas of a global company’s operations.

You will be encouraged to undergo industrial training related to your respective fields of study. Places for industrial training are limited, depending on the availability of various departments and subsidiaries within PETRONAS. However, you may also seek placement with organizations in the country where you are studying.

Work-life balance

Typically, the working hours here are 9 hours per day (08:00 AM to 05:00 PM), Monday to Friday (45 hours per week). About you

Here are the eligibility criteria you should meet to be able to apply for this internship program:

• Malaysian or PETRONAS- Sponsored Student pursuing an undergraduate degree in higher learning institutions, either in Malaysia or overseas, in related disciplines where an internship is a mandatory part of course completion (preference will be given to third and final-year students). Application is not included for international students who are studying in overseas learning institutions.
• Application is also open to Malaysians pursuing diploma degrees in higher learning institutions, either in Malaysia or overseas, in technical / engineering disciplines where the internship is a mandatory part of course completion.
• Internship participation for a minimum duration of eight (8) weeks and a maximum of eight (8) months.
• Submission of the following documents (completed documents MUST be submitted via the application portal)
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Copy of latest academic results
  • Copy of the Industrial Training / Internship Letter (signed by the University)
