Your role

In this role, you will have the responsibilities below:

• Assist in planning, developing, and tracking the progress of key activities for respective deliverables inclusive of key deliverables, costs, schedule, and resource requirements.
• Assist in planning and executing the design, development, and delivery of initiative segment up until initiative closure as per the detailed plan, target, and costs.
• Assist to develop and implement change management and communications activities for respective deliverables.
• Assist in developing & implementing the project management systems & mitigation plans and undertake self-assurance in compliance with corporate governance, company policies and regulations, technical standards, and statutory requirements.
• Assist in planning and monitoring the utilization of the initiative's contracts and the performance of the contractors while identifying & highlighting potential risks and implementing the mitigation plans for respective deliverables.

About you

To apply for this role, you need to have the qualifications below:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance-related disciplines.
• CGPA: 3.0 or WAM: 70% or 5/7 or 5/9 or B or 2:1 (2nd Class Upper).

Additionally, you must also meet the following requirements for the internship at PETRONAS Malaysia:

• The application is open to Malaysian citizens only.
• Undergraduate degree from local or overseas higher learning institutions where internship is a mandatory part of course completion in disciplines relevant to PETRONAS.
• Diploma from local or overseas higher learning institutions where the internship is a mandatory part of course completion in TECHNICAL or ENGINEERING disciplines relevant to PETRONAS.
• The minimum duration for an internship is eight (8) weeks and a maximum of eight (8) months.

Training & development

PETRONAS Internship Opportunity Program provides undergraduates with experiential learning opportunities and first working exposure in the energy industry. You can engage in various areas of a global company’s operations.

You will be encouraged to undergo industrial training related to your respective fields of study. Places for industrial training are limited, depending on the availability of various departments and subsidiaries within PETRONAS. However, you may also seek placement with organizations in the country where you are studying.

Career progression

PETRONAS doesn't specifically mention the career progression for this role.
