Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in communications planning and strategizing to support the company’s brand-building initiatives and enhance its reputation
• Prepare external communications materials including the annual report, sustainability report, AGM presentation materials, press releases, speeches, corporate video, brochures and interviews for the stakeholders such as media, shareholders, customers and the general public and disseminate through all relevant communications channels
• Prepare and coordinate corporate events such as Annual General Meeting, media events and Marketing events with necessary event management support and press kits
• Prepare the content and design of employee communications materials through newsletter publication, poster and mass email
• Prepare and update digital content for the website and social media as well as the enhancements of the website from time to time
• Assist in managing crisis communications and other projects as assigned by the Management

Requirements:

• Degree in Communications, Journalism, Mass Communications or any other related discipline
• Excellent communicator and writing skills with a strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Media savvy with a strong relationship with the media fraternity and proficient in social media platforms
• Able to work independently, detailed-oriented and has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to interact effectively with all levels, adapting to various communications levels
• Must be proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
• Experienced in writing for the Annual Report and Sustainability Report is an added advantaged
